Here are a few pictures from this week. It seemed like it was a very busy week. Not my favorite kind, but we still had a lot of fun.

Sleepy Mom

Today Aidan and I were laying on the couch watching TV and I'm a little embarrassed to be writing this but I fell asleep. There is something about pregnancy that completely wears me out. I honestly don't know how I could've been tired because I had just woke up an hour ago. Once I woke up I panicked because I didn't see Aidan. I looked over and he was in his recliner watching Family Feud and clapping for the teams. It was so cute and I was so relieved that I didn't wake up to him climbing on the table, prowling through the house, playing with the printer or keyboard, need I go on. Our house is pretty baby proofed and we have gates everywhere so I knew that he coudln't have gotten into too much. I know I wasn't asleep for more than about 2 minutes and I can honestly say I have only done that one other time when he was a newborn. It didn't really matter then because he slept all the time anyway. I felt like a terrible mother but I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I guess I'm going to have to stop laying down and watching TV with him. I'm sure I'm not the first mother who has gone to sleep while their child was awake. Am I?????

Easter Egg Hunt

Parents as Teachers will be having an Easter egg hunt on April 9th @ 6:30. We would love it if you would come and hunt eggs with us. Each child participating in the hunt needs to bring 6 candy filled plastic eggs and an Easter basket. Hope to see you there.

Flying Poop

Warning: If you have a weak stomach stop reading now!!! Last week James was changing Aidan's diaper and Aidan thought it would be real funny to reach down and pick up a piece of his poop and throw it at his Daddy. Needless to say James was not a happy camper and it took two of us to finish changing his diaper. Aidan had poop from one end of him to the other. He thought it was absolutely hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. It was a little hard to get onto him because I was trying to hold back my laughter. He is learning something new everyday. Some good, some bad. Don't worry I will spare you all from the pictures.

We're Having a Baby!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Aidan is going to be a big brother. I am 11 weeks pregnant and we couldn't be more excited. I am due around the first of October, but they will probably do a c-section towards the end of September. I am hoping that Dr. Cole will do it on my dad's birthday the 29th, which is also my parent's anniversary, and my best friend Jill's sons birthday. I went to the doctor today and got to hear the babies heartbeat. It was 168 bpm. I don't think there is anything better than hearing that sound. Like I said before we are so excited and can't wait for he/she to get here. We feel so blessed to be able to give Aidan a sibling and partner in crime. Ha! Please pray that I will continue to have a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy delivery.

Happy Birthday Jane!

So I ordered James a cookie cake for his birthday and while I was ordering it I had a gut feeling that it might not end up right. The woman kept asking me what the name was. I even spelled it for her twice. So James ran into the mall to pick it up and when he gets into the car I told him I wanted to see it. He then said no you don't. Then I knew something was wrong. Instead of Happy Birthday James it said Happy Birthday Jane. I was a little upset and I wanted to take it back in and make them fix it, but James wouldn't let me. He said it would taste the same whether it said James or Jane. Typical man. It was very good and Jane aka James had a great birthday this year.

Slumber Party

Friday night my nieces came over and we had a slumber party. I just love having them over. They are so much fun and I love to act silly with them. Aidan absolutely loved it as well. He was beaming from all of the attention. The girls played and wrestled with him until he was completely pooped out. He went to bed at 11:00 and slept until 12:30 Saturday morning. Maybe I should have them come over and wear him out more often!
